Cyanotype Printing
Cyanotype is a method of using objects of differing opacity to print with the sun. Each art piece is a monotype photographic print— meaning they are one-of-a-kind, original art pieces. Though it is a photographic process, there is no need for a camera. The objects placed on the paper to be printed are the “negative”.
Most of Kasey’s cyanotype work is created using botanicals, found objects, or heirloom fabrics. Cyanotype commissions are available.
